Get sustainable eating

Today, it’s well-known that one of the most effective way to reduce our carbon footprint is by eating less meat. Essentially, that's an action we need to take to stop climate change. Yet, many of us are reluctant to give up meat fully. Why? The alternatives haven’t cut it yet. So where to go from here?
30% less meat

One step in the right direction

We get it, if you are a meat lover, it's hard to beat the taste and the nutrition that comes with it. So do you need to give up meat entirely to help the environment? The answer is no. The future doesn’t need to be black or white. With our solution, you can have the cake and eat it too. It’s called hybrid-meat.

Here is how it works: By swapping 30% of the meat in our dishes with chickpeas, we make it easier to start eating less meat – without missing out on everything good about it. Simply because chickpea is a fantastic complement of nutrition and a more sustainable alternative to the soy that most vegetarian dishes use. Also, if you ask for our opinion, the combination is tastier too. That’s your good start.

A sustainable chain

We keep it together

Also, in addition to helping you cut down on the meat, we make sure everything from the ingredients and how the food is cooked, all the way to manufacturing and distribution is overseen and fully transparent.

FAQs

Here are answers to the most common questions our customers ask.

Are your food boxes recyclable?

Yes, the recycling information is stated on the back of our packaging.

How is the food cooked?

We cook all food from the ground with carefully, handpicked ingredients. Our experienced chefs make the food in our own kitchen in Enköping, Sweden.

Do you have entirely vegetarian alternatives?

Yes, our flagship vegetarian dish consists of Halloumi -and beetroot steak with mashed potatoes and forest mushroom sauce.

Why chickpeas?

For many reasons. We see too many vegetarian brands that use soy in their dishes, and we all know the bad effects that soy can have both for the environment and our bodies. The chickpea is a great protein, filled with nutrients. It also has very low impact on the environment. Lastly, it tastes amazing.

So why just 30% less meat?

We think it is a great and realistic step in the right direction. This way, more people can effortlessly start to eat less meat. A 30% reduction in meat consumption overall would have big impact on our planet and the environment.
